Frá aðfararnótt föstudags og fram á laugardagsmorgun er búist við hvassri suðvestanátt með éljagangi um allt sunnan- og vestanvert landið. „Sú snjókoma og skafrenningur getur skapað erfið og tímabundið blind akstursskilyrði á vegum og heiðum á vesturhelmingi landsins. Vindur víða 18-23 m/s og hviður um 30-35 m/s á þessum svæðum,“ segir í hugleiðingum Vegagerðarinnar.
